Wall Decals and Arty Bits

The graphic design world constantly comes into play throughout the home and this is a perfectly chic and feminine example.

Simply find a classic cross stitch pattern, get it enlarged at your local printers and select your colours from your closest paint or hardware store. Sample pots will work best for this piece.

Next, get some large squares of carbon paper and attach to the back of your printed design. Stick this to the wall, and trace 'X's over your design so that your carbon transfers the 'X' onto your wall.

Once, all your crosses are done, bring out your paint and a small paint brush and again, trace over your design. Be sure to keep your large print handy to check back on.


The final result? A chabby chic bedroom fit for a princess! It's that easy!
