Etsy: Our Top 10 Homewares

If you noticed our Facebook post yesterday (yes, the eccentric Lionel Richie tea set), you would have realized we love a quirky homeware or two. We are all about generating comfortable, flowing conversation around the home and unconventional, custom or hand-made pieces do just that.

Etsy is the ultimate place to find home-wares that are peculiar and unorthodox without having to scour markets and boutiques or battle chaotic shopping centers with two point five kids and a hubby dragging along beside you! You can relax and browse through at your leisure.

What is Etsy exactly?
Etsy is a social commerce website focusing on handmade items and art, along with an interesting collection of authentic vintage pieces. Etsy is the place where indie artists utilise a streamlined process to get their designs out into the world. With options to 'share', 'tweet', 'pin' and 'like' - the artists ultimately have free marketing! (so remember, when you spot something on Etsy - share it around... Give these clever artisans a hit of exposure)

Mind you, setting ourselves up to choose only 10 homewares is daunting at the best of times; but we managed to narrow it down these eclectic works of art.

Enjoy.
