Maybe It's Lisa Vanderpump?

Maybe it's a new found obsession of Lisa Vanderpump and her ultra glamorous pink palace, or maybe I feel like contradicting a previous post when I made the bold statement: "Not being a fan of pink on or anywhere near me, let alone around our home" (!?!) who knows! Now after making this statement only a couple of days ago, I seem to be noticing pops of pink everywhere... My mind seems to be acting like a sieve, straining out all other colours and focusing in on these girlish tones!

Now I'm thinking it's the femininity of the colour that has me running in the opposite direction... Anyway I started trawling the net to find ways to make pink work. With a rough edge and a hell of a lot of styling I've come to terms that this colour can work in a home - if your bold enough to utilise heavy monochrome in textures or gloss you can achieve an incredibly edgy result. Or pair blush with grey and gold accents for a romantic french boudoir. And with the right decor, a bright pink could be bohemian. How versatile... Bohemian, glamorous or uber edgey!! (love it!)

Now I best get back to look at dark, soulful images, before I turn into fairy floss! ;)

Enjoy.

(Seriously in love with this look... MK, does it again!)

Have you ever used pink around your home? Let me know how you made this awkward colour work!
