Chic Chair of the Day

Disheveled and provocative. Two intriguing words, yet they only graze the skins of how we could describe the Maggie Club Chair, 5th Street (Yes, that is his full name).

The creator, Draga Obradovic is a Serbian artist creating unique chairs and textiles at her studio in Como, Italy. Draga emulates the vintage frames she works with until she bestows them a new life.

Reupholstering the pieces with signature coated-cotton fabrics, Draga layers rich pigments, which are then screen printed and distressed by hand resulting in a leather-look finish which in this case is a rugged, industrial almost grubby chair oozing masculinity.
